Help Wanted! Hair stylist and Make up artist for HDTV

The first HDTV sets went on sale in the US in 1998, Early Analog HDTV’S were available first in Japan in the early 90’s however, It was developed in 1993 . High Definition television as we know it today was created by a grand alliance of companies working together to create the next generation of television. They produced standards that would allow HDTV transmission to be phased into the United States.

Since digital film wrong shades of foundation, lipstick, eye color, blush and bad hair, did I say bad hair! have saturated our tv screens were seeing nose hairs of actors and dandruff resting on the shoulders of our news casters Unblended toupes and extensions that before digital you could not tell where they began or ended, now you see EVERYTHING! the weft, the bad haircut and the wrong color.

As the old saying goes less is more this quite true when applying make up for this medium. It is possible however to apply make up traditionally but you have to make sure that colors are blended properly, when choosing colors be sure to pick warm or neutral tones, cool tones tend to look neon.

Lace front wigs can be a problem because on digital film the lace in the front of the wig which is used to make the hair line look natural, on digital film can read “bumpy” so be sure to blend blend and blend again!
